She was born in Athens (Greece) and she has studied Political Sciences in the National Kapodistrian
University of Athens. She began her studies in music in the National Conservatory of Greece at the age of 6.She studied accordion under Nikos Magoulas, piano under Maria Kanatsouli, harmony, counterpoint andfugue under Dimitris Dragatakis and Reriklis Koukos and composition under Theodore Antoniou (professor at Boston University). She has attended courses of monody under Francisco Voutsinos, courses of classical dance and courses of orchestra direction under Miltos Logiadis. She has also attended many seminaries about the composition, the piano, the teaching of music, the orchestra and chorus direction, the musical technology. She is permanent member of Greek Composer Union (since 2000) and she has taken part in several concerts at the Athens Concert Hall Megaron, at the Belgrade Music Festival, at the American Embassy, at the Hellenic American Union, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, at the Conservatory «Nakas», at the
Caravel Hotel, at the “Crete’s House” cultural center, at the museum «Goulandris», etc. Her music works have been broadcasted by the 3rd Program of Hellenic Radio with which she has also collaborated supervising the music of programs in the years 1994, 1996. In 2001, she participated as a speaker in the convention organised by the Municipality of Lamia (2001), presenting the issue "Aesthetic savagery and its consequences on contemporary musical creativity".Her works include pieces of Chamber Music, for Orchestra, for Voice and for Chorus, for solo instruments,for Theatre music, educational books, etc. There have been references to her work in several magazines,encyclopeadias, music books, as well as graduate thesis works.
